Portal
The Everest Portal is a network that ensures an exchange of 3D-construction data and therefore acts as an interactive “exchange-platform” for several scan and milling partners.
How does the Portal work?
- The milling laboratory sends a manufacturing request into the KaVo Everst portal.
- The Everest scan laboratory is now able to see all registered milling partners within the portal which have free capaci-ties available. Hence the laboratory can choose a suitable partner.
- After accepting the offer construction data will be trans-ferred securely and without complications to the milling partner by the Everest portal (a KaVo server).
- The milling laboratory manufactures the order and sends it back to the scan laboratory.
- Writing and payment of the invoice take place directly between the milling and the scanning laboratory.
- There is also the production center BEGO Medical in the portal, available for the manufacturing of laser-sintered NEM work.
