Machining unit with 5-axis technology
The Everest engine has the advanced 5-axis milling and grinding technology. With its extremely compact design, specially developed for the dental laboratory, the Everest engine is a minor revolution in power. Long traverse paths with wide working angles smooth the path to easy complete machining of even the most demanding geometrical designs with convoluted bottom sections.
This high-tech engine, which has a dual tool spindle, a swivelling gripping yoke and is simultaneously controlled by high-output CNC software, has a wide range of applications and offers maximum productivity and quality.
The five X, Y, Z, A and B axes offer particularly high ranges and wide angles of motion for maximum possible variety and precision for your machining processes:
Everest engine – the 5-axis milling and grinding unit:
- x-axis: 250 mm
- y-axis: 100 mm
- z-axis: 70 mm
- a-workpiece rotation: 360° degrees
- b-tool swivel range: 240° degrees

Possible axis motions

The x, y and z-axes define the horizontal and vertical paths in the space.

The a-axis defines the swivel range of the gripping yoke and thus the workpiece rotation.

The b-axis defines the rotation range of the spindle and tool.
