The elementary basis: Everest C-Temp
Strength for temporary solutions
KaVo Everest C-Temp is an innovative high-performance polymer plastic for dental technicians. The material consists of endless molecular chains that increase the strength of the polymer to over 500 MPa. The strength and the flexural modulus of 2000 MPa is perfectly adequate for long-term temporary dentures - even over extended spans.
KaVo Everest® Elements C-Temp blanks are industrially-manufactured polymer blanks with an ideal homogeneous structure. The solubility and water absorption of the polymer is so low that the material can be worn in the mouth for up to 12 months without problems.
Material
- High-performance polymer plastic
- Stable flexural strength
- Excellent wear properties
- High aesthetics
- Conventional cementation possible
Indications
- Framework copings
- Bridges up to 14 elements
3-point flexural strength
Preparation technique
- Step or shoulder preparation
Type of fixation
- Conventional or adhesive fixation is possible
High-performance polymers
With a three-point flexural strength of 500 MPa, C-Temp is capable of producing up to 14-element bridge frameworks, which means high stability as a long-term temporary restoration. Temporary solutions should not be immediately recognisable as temporary at first glance, which is why this material also offers good aesthetics.
C-Temp frameworks can be veneered with stan-dard veneering materials such as GC Gradia or SR Adoro from Ivoclar Vivadent.
