Complete freedom in processing the material of your choice

You have the choice of material, machining process and production planning to control exactly how rationally and efficiently you want to design your machining process with KaVo Everest. Everest allows you to machine blanks with the embedding method or to use the disk strategy for particularly economical use of material.

Everest disks

  • The disk method is particularly suitable for working with large bridge work in titanium, zirconium dioxide or C-Temp.
  • Up to 25 units can be fabricated from one disk
  • Highly economical overnight production in your own laboratory
  • Retention bars are used for working with disks. During CAD design the connecting bars can be selected and are removed at the end of the milling process. Therefore reducing manual work.

Ideal material efficiency due to optimum material usage

  • The system “remembers“ the data of each processed disk as well as the remaining available material
  • This information is saved on a microchip and can be retrieved the next time the workpiece is inserted
  • Disks on which work has already been done can be accessed for pending jobs for optimum use of the available material
  • At the same time, the work is seamlessly documented and the material quality remains at a constant high level

The Everest embedding method

The Everest-specific embedding method offers advantages that are available with no other CAD/CAM system.

The placement of the item to be machined in the embedding material (plastic or wax) enables very fine machining, even with zirconium oxide, with ultrathin margins, which would not be possible without using embedding material to provide support throughout the milling process.

Reworking is limited to perfecting the finish because there are no retention bars or any other surface burrs.
