Virtual Wax knife – wax modeling in real time

This software module can be used to process the virtual model in three dimensions on the screen. Precise addition or removal of virtual material for cusps or missing substance enables quick and precise waxing:

• When needs increase, the module functions can be supplemented or additional modules can be added. The wax knife function can be accessed any time and is available at all application levels.
  
• Individual wax modelling with the addition and removal of material and smoothing surfaces is child’s play – in real time, and reversible or optimisable at any time in steps.
  
• Coping, intermediate components and cantilevered pontics can be waxed and smoothed with the virtual wax knife.
  
• Cusp-supporting abutments for even veneering can be quickly and easily fabricated in combination with the bite impression.
  
• A distance indicator to the occlusion assists the dental technician to calculate the space required for subsequent veneering.
